- Requests in Tlaxcala (Félix-Brasdefer 2005a) and Mexico City (Félix-Brasdefer 2005b), and perception of requests (Curcó 1998; Curcó and De Fina 2002), and
- Compliments in Puebla (Nelson & Hall 1999).
